Subject: Request for Fibre Service Completion Review – 474 to 496 King Street East, Toronto

Dear Bell Executive Relations Team,

We are property owners and residents on King Street East in Toronto writing to formally request a service completion review for fibre-to-the-home infrastructure for the contiguous properties between 474 and 496 King Street East.

This request relates to what appears to be a clear build-out omission. Fibre infrastructure has been deployed on immediately adjacent streets and properties, on Sumach Street and Ashby Place, and within the broader King Street East corridor. However, our specific block was not included in the rollout, despite being fully contiguous with already-served addresses, and address where fibre optic internet was rolled out.

We are requesting this review because the current situation represents a small, clearly bounded infill gap. From a network deployment perspective, this type of omission is typically the most efficient to correct, given that backbone and nearby distribution infrastructure already exists in the immediate area.

We also understand that Bell’s fibre expansion initiatives operate within broader federally and provincially supported broadband objectives aimed at expanding reliable high-speed access and ensuring that neighbourhood-level gaps in coverage are addressed as infrastructure is deployed.

Given the above, we are requesting the following actions:

1) A formal review of the original fibre build design for King Street East corridor.

2) Confirmation of why 474 to 496 King Street East were excluded from the deployment footprint in the initial roll-out.

3) A physical onsite engineering assessment by Bell's internal teams to determine the feasibility of completing fibre installation to these addresses.

4) If feasible, inclusion of these properties in a scheduled build or extension plan, with defined timelines from Bell on the scheduling and installation timeframes.

We believe this is a straightforward opportunity to complete an otherwise fully served residential area and efficiently leverage existing nearby infrastructure. Specifically what looks to be available connection points on a PON/Splitter on Sumach directly across from what is likely our telephone service box that services our addresses.

To support this request, we are providing expressions of interest from affected residents to demonstrate demand and confirm that multiple households are aligned in requesting service completion from Bell Canada and their contractors.
